  • We are seeking a full-time Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Practitioner to join our team at our east coast mediation centres.

    As an FDR Practitioner, you will provide:

    • Professional family dispute resolution and conciliation services

    • Support for families navigating separation, divorce, or post-separation challenges

    • Guidance in creating sustainable parenting plans and property agreements

    This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive, flexible environment where your skills directly impact the well-being of families.


Key Responsibilities

  • Apply conflict resolution techniques specific to family mediation

  • Facilitate equitable participation of both parties

  • Assist clients in generating practical, sustainable solutions

  • Use separation- and divorce-focused issue management strategies

  • Conduct client assessments and intake to understand needs

  • Provide information, guidance, and appropriate referrals

  • Uphold confidentiality, duty of care, and domestic/family violence protocols

  • Work primarily Monday to Friday, with flexibility to meet organisational needs

Salary and Employment Details

  • Full-time role (38 hours per week)

  • Flexible work arrangements available

  • Work across multiple mediation venues on the east coast
