Participated in family mediation previously and it felt very rushed. This occasion, it was fairly relaxed and the mediator took control of quarrels pretty quick and got us back on track. Will use them again, if and when issues arise, hopefully not though.
Our lawyer recommended this practice. We hadn't done mediation before, but were willing to give it a try. I suppose we aren't as bad as some divorcing couples, and we were able to agree to everything pretty much for kids.
Friendly service focused on our key issues. Found the process much simpler than anticipated with better results than what we both imagined. Hopefully we abide by our agreements in the long term for the benefit of kids and our mental health.
